For Rent: Vancouver Island Fishing Boats
Welcome to a new way to fish Vancouver Island, British Columbia!
The concept:
We rent the kind of fishing boats that you want to fish from. Unlike many rental fishing boats on Vancouver Island, these are fully equipped with GPS chartplotters, fish finders, VHF radios, downriggers, fish boxes, and trolling engines. Just pull up in your towing vehicle (almost any SUV or light truck will do), hookup the boat, and head wherever the salmon or Halibut are biting!
Don’t have a towing vehicle? We can arrange to deliver and pickup the boat for a reasonable fee. In some cases (Alberni Inlet, Barkley Sound, Bamfield & Ucluelet) you can simply run the boat to your intended destination over water!
The destinations:
Our boats are the perfect choice for self-guided fishing on Vancouver Island. Since our boats are mobile, they can be taken to Bamfield, Sooke, Ucluelet, Tofino, Barkley Sound, Clayoquat Sound, Alberni Inlet, Nootka Sound, Esperanza Inlet, Campbell River, Port Renfrew, Port Hardy, Telegraph Cove, etc. No matter where you want to fish for Salmon on Vancouver Island, the boat can probably go there.
Our ideal clients
Our ideal clients are moderately experienced Salmon fishermen who don’t own a boat and don’t want (or need) to hire a professional fishing guide or charter. We think that our clients would rather self-guide and run the boat themselves. In other words, our ideal clients are a lot like us: Guys that love fishing and boats but can’t justify the expenses or hassles associated with owning a “west coast capable” fishing boat.

These are not your typical, stripped down, rental boats. These are the boats that you’ll find the guides running. These are real fishing boats that are fully equipped and ready to roll.

How it works
We are a “self towing” and “self-guided” fishing operation. Our boats live on trailers and can be taken virtually anywhere on Vancouver Island from our base in Port Alberni. If you have a suitable SUV or pickup truck then you can easily pickup one of our boats from our Port Alberni location and tow it to Ucluelet, Tofino, Campbell River, or wherever you want to fish. We can also arrange to pickup and deliver your rental for a reasonable fee. Please contact us for more details.

We believe that our rental rates represent excellent value for your fishing dollar. We are significantly less expensive that guided fishing charters and MUCH less expensive than owning your own boat! Check out our very reasonable rental rates.
