Fishing Season is NOT over – Reduced Rates Now in Effect!
Salmon fishing for HUGE Coho is great in Bamfield, Ucluelet, and Barkley Sound right through early October! Accommodations are much easier to find, rates are lower, the crowds have gone home and the fishing is still great.
We just came back from Ucluelet and had a great time fishing for Coho on the South Bank. An easy 6 mile trip from the harbour mouth, our group of 8 fishermen caugh 30-40 wild Coho per day and kept 8-10 hatchery fish per day. Sizes ranged anywhere from 12-20 pounds! They are a blast to catch on light tackle. There are also still lots of Halibut and 10-15 pound feeder springs can be found.
