Check out this report from Murphy Sportfishing. Ucluelet is the most consistent Vancouver Island fishery in May and this year is no exception. Playing a 20 lb Chinook Salmon on a medium weight mooching rod is a blast, and our spring rates are awesome. Are you sure that you can’t sneak in a May or June weekend in Ucluelet? :-)
